Submit ReviewKevin Durant finally returned for the Brooklyn and got his first game action since going down with the knee injury on January 15th. And things were definitely humming early for the Nets with the offense cooking, the ball moving and the offense seeming to score at will. It was everything you wanted to see out of this team with arguably the best player in basketball back on the court.
But the game fell away in the third and fourth quarter. The Heat who were without Jimmy Butler, Kyle Lowry, and PJ Tucker stormed all the way back, down 16 at one point, and were able to steal a game in Barclays. The Nets couldn’t solve the zone for the longest time and were too late to make the necessary adjustments. This one really stings. Doug Norrie is breaking it all down on the podcast.
