With the Nets coming on the back-to-back and without Kyrie Irving, we knew this was going to be an uphill battle against Luka Doncic and the Dallas Mavericks. Brooklyn was up to the task and played hard throughout. It was the final few moments that told the story though with Kevin Durant hitting a monster three to put the Nets ahead by one. But former Net Spencer Dinwiddie was able to finish it off with a buzzer-beater that gave Dallas the win. It was a very tough loss for Brooklyn who really had this win, until they didn’t.
