Submit ReviewWith the Nets coming on the back-to-back and without Kyrie Irving, we knew this was going to be an uphill battle against Luka Doncic and the Dallas Mavericks. Brooklyn was up to the task and played hard throughout. It was the final few moments that told the story though with Kevin Durant hitting a monster three to put the Nets ahead by one. But former Net Spencer Dinwiddie was able to finish it off with a buzzer-beater that gave Dallas the win. It was a very tough loss for Brooklyn who really had this win, until they didn’t.
The Locked on Nets guys break down the closing sequences and what went right and wrong for each team. They also dive into the game as a whole with talk about adjustments and strategies each team took to mitigate the two superstars in Durant and Doncic. Plus, they talk about the play of Nic Claxton and Bruce Brown, both of whom were huge in this one. It’s a packed podcast after a tough loss.
