Kendrick Lamar sat down for an interview with Forbes for their Under 30 summit. He spoke about a number of different things including advice for rappers who are on the come up and still trying to find their sound.

Here are the three questions we asked after peeping the video: 1 - Should artists look at what the game is currently doing in order to gain inspiration and use that to influence their sound? Or should they block it all out?

2 - If they DO take that route and they're successful, should they return to their roots?

3 - After making it commercially, is the pressure now on? Or is it more on an artist that's still trying to get their foot in the door?
