Keith Jenkins Interview: Keith Jenkins was a 20-year old struggling musician in Augusta, GA… but he was also a rabid fan of hometown favorite, James Brown. In perhaps the most serendipitous occurrence possible, a random series of events occurs which ultimately winds up getting Keith an audition, right in front of James Brown. He passes the audition with flying colors and becomes James’ guitar player and ultimately, his band leader for the last 13 years of James’ life. He even winds up flying solo with James on his Lear jet
