Native to New Orleans but Brooklyn based, Joseph Lymous is a Black, gay, interdisciplinary artist with emphasis in comedy and self-liberation. Joseph studied Performing Arts at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and sketch comedy writing at the Upright Citizens Brigade. He is the co-artistic director of Mass Transit Theater where he performs and facilities workshops in social/emotional literacy, racial equity, and conflict resolution. Joseph is also the founder and executive producer of Jomiray Productions, a digital media company which creates content to incite thoughtful joy on the internet. Joseph has toured internationally with several theatre companies but has begun a steady climb into film and television.
