The Chicago White Sox followed up on their 11 run, 17 hit performance from Tuesday night with only 1 run and 7 hits on Wednesday night. The White Sox lost to the Los Angeles Angels, 4-1, and also lost the series. The Sox were not able to do much against Angels pitcher Shoehi Ohtani but the White Sox did have opportunities throughout the game to score runs but were 0-for-7 with runners in scoring position. The lone bright spot for the Sox was Jose Abreu. He went 4-for-4 on the night. Sox starter, Michael Kopech, gave up a few runs early then settled down until the 6th inning. The last batter he faced, he gave up a two-run home run. The White Sox have an off day on Thursday and then head to San Francisco for a three game series with the Giants.
