Jonathan India won the NL Rookie of the Year in the most obvious vote, ever (except for the one guy who voted for Trevor Rogers). India is at the head of a group of five-to-six players who are the core of the Cincinnati Reds future. The challenge will be how the Reds support this core.

Jonathan India's baseball IQ proved to be ultra-impressive and the key to his 2021 successes, as well as his future hype. How he translates that to future success will determine a lot for the Cincinnati Reds and their competitive aspirations.

India leads a group of Tyler Stephenson, Hunter Greene, Nick Lodolo, and possibly Jesse Winker and Tyler Mahle as the core of the Cincinnati Reds. How management and the ones signing the checks will support them will be the biggest question-mark, moving forward. They must be all-in, one way or another.
