Joey Seely is an engineer who builds some of the fastest unique Porsches on Earth. After cutting his teeth on Porsche Motorsport's race team, he co-founded BBI Autosport, then opened his business, Emotion Engineering. They focus on tailoring high-performance cars to the driver and environment using a mix of off-the-shelf parts and many of their own design. In a few years Joey has built a custom Pikes Peak car for Rhys Millen, ran Jeff Zwart's 935 campaign, practically created the modern overland Cayenne movement, turned a Turbo S into a Baja machine, all while continuing to learn, innovate, and push the limits.

On this episode we talk about his amazing air-cooled Project Nasty; why a smaller-tire racing series is a good idea; what's "wrong" with a GT3; overrated paint colors; what he learned by doing things wrong; some of the tricks on Rhys' Pikes Peak car; carbon fiber costs; and so much more.
