Biden supporters erupted in celebration across the country on Saturday, after it was announced that the former Vice President won Pennsylvania. Soon after, Biden also won Nevada, reaching 290 electoral votes.

Joe Biden is now the president-elect. He and Senator Kamala Harris will become President and Vice President of the United States on January 20, 2021.

On this episode, we're looking ahead to the next two-a-half-months, because many Americans still have questions about what happens next.

Trump supporters remain defiant. They say — without evidence — that Biden "stole the election."

USA TODAY Politics 2020 Editor Annah Aschbrenner joins host Claire Thornton to discuss how Joe Biden and Kamala Harris won the election with room to spare, and explains what elections results we're still waiting for. They also talk about Trump's election lawsuits and his aversion to accepting defeat.

On Saturday night, president-election Biden and vice president-elect Harris addressed the nation in their acceptance speeches from Wilmington, Delaware, where they emphasized that America must now focus on healing and unity.
