Jim is best known as the long-time guitarist for “Weird Al” Yankovic - he’s played with Al for 30 years & has 5 Grammys and a Billboard #1 CD for his efforts. He’s also regarded as one of the world’s foremost “ki ho’alu” or Hawaiian “slack key” guitarists and has won countless awards in this genre. His newest (13th) LP explores West African guitar, Middle Eastern Music & Americana. Kimo also produces & engineers from his LA studio
