It’s Friday afternoon and that means a brand new episode of Oilersnation Radio is wrapped up, edited into a masterpiece, and here to get you set for the weekend. This week, we looked at the potential for ads to appear on NHL uniforms, a look at the Oilers' rumoured third jerseys, the Heritage Classic, and a whole lot more.    To kick off today's podcast, we jumped in with a look at adding advertisements to NHL jerseys for the upcoming season as a means of increasing league revenue at a time when they won't be able to sell tickets. Surprisingly, all of us agreed that it wouldn't be a big deal to have ads on the jerseys if it means that the NHL can proceed with a season and have it make sense financially. Somehow, the conversation about ads led to a discussion about whether or not the NHL is missing an opportunity by not getting back on the ice as quickly as possible and allowing the NBA to get back to action first. Next up, we looked at the potential third jersey design (shown above) that made the rounds on social media this past week and whether the Oilers got creative enough on these latest unis or if they could have done more than giving Malibu Stacy a new hat. Back to the Oilers, we broke down the Kris Russell extension that came down this past week and took a few guesses at what it means for the upcoming Seattle expansion draft. We also looked back at the Heritage Classic that took place four years ago in Winnipeg and what everyone remembered from that weekend as well as which event we'd like to see come to our city.
