Natasha Magino, co-founder, and Jasmin Dixon. Editor & Social Media Manager, of The Vibe Room.
As residents of the DMV (D.C., Maryland, and Virginia) area, we are challenged by this monotony as well. One day when Natasha Magino and Isabel Yu sat down to catch up, they realized they were depleted from their daily 9-5 routine. They began to discuss a need for young DMV residents to have a space where creatives can connect and explore the community around them. We saw a chasm between talented local creatives who wanted to share their work and people looking for unique and accessible experiences in the area who didn’t know where to start.
Enter: The Vibe Room. With our combined marketing, design, and editing talents, we’ve created the space that the DMV needs. The Vibe Room is a publication that celebrates creatives and creative spaces doing exciting things with fashion, music, food, art, and culture in the DMV. Through our quarterly magazine issues and networking events, we provide a space to watch for up and coming artists and entrepreneurs making our community more unique.
We are working to build a network of creatives and artists while bringing cultural accessibility to you, our beautiful readers. Welcome to The Vibe Room.
