Jared Chavis went missing January 12, 2018 in Houston, TX, but his case is far from typical. His family has been trying to piece together what happened to Jared that night, but the story is still not clear. They do know that Jared was with three of his friends the night he went missing. They were at a CVS parking lot in Jared’s car when Jared and one of his friends left his car to meet up with two other young men in a black Ford Fusion. Reportedly, a fight broke out and shots were fired by the other men. That was the last time Jared was seen alive. His car was later found with the seat covers removed. There were multiple witnesses to this incident, including Jared’s own friends, but their stories have changed multiple times. Jared’s case is now with the Houston Police Department’s homicide division and they are searching for his body. Houston Police told us that they have looked into multiple persons as potential suspects in the case, but no one has been charged yet. If you have any information about the disappearance of Jared Chavis, please contact the Houston Police Department at 832-394-1840. Crime Stoppers has a $10,000 reward for information leading to the charging or arrest of an individual(s) involved in the disappearance of Jared Chavis. Information may be reported at 713-222-TIPS (8477) or submitted online at stoppers.org">www.crime-stoppers.org. All tipsters remain anonymous.
