[This episode originally aired in June 2020.] Jane Goodall was a secretary when her boss offered her the unique opportunity to travel to Africa and observe chimpanzees. Jane, who adored animals as a girl, traveled to Gombe where she spent three months observing, and spending time with the primates. Some of what she observed rocked the scientific community around the world, shaping how we understand the animal kingdom today.
