As we close in on the All-Star Break, the Locked on Nets guys start to ask the question: Why isn’t James Harden higher up on the MVP odds list? Is it because his name is James Harden? Because it can’t be from a statistical and team-winning standpoint. Harden is putting together an MVP-caliber season almost no matter which way you slice it, but that’s not how he’s currently seen throughout the league.

The guys make the case that he should be sitting in the top-5 for MVP voting right now. They look at his stats, impact on the team, overall record and some other players ahead of him who don’t deserve to be there.
