After giving up 16 runs to the Boston Red Sox on Tuesday night, the Chicago White Sox came back on Wednesday and limited Boston to 7 hits and just 1 run. White Sox got a huge 3 run homerun from Jake Burger and beat the Red Sox, 3-1. Chicago White Sox starter, Lucas Giolito, allowed a lot of baserunners and issued 4 walks but was able to get through the 6th inning with limited damage. He threw 101 pitches which is a team high. Good pitching will always beat good hitting. White Sox bullpen was up for the challenge and Liam Hendriks got his 14th save of the year.
