Submit ReviewOn this episode we speak with Desmond, a journalist who has worked with local and international media houses over the last 5 years. He talks about his career as a writer and the differences between working for a Nigerian publication and foreign publications. Desmond also happens to be gay and is out, meanings it’s public knowledge which is quite dangerous in a country like Nigeria. He describes his childhood and everyday living. From “coming out” to his parents, down low relationships, dating Igbo men and cultivating friendships in an extremely homophobic society.
