There will be plenty of discussion over the next several months about who should become the next head coach of Arizona State Sun Devils football. Names like Matt Rhule, Bill O'Brien, Matt Campbell, Kenny Dillingham, and many more candidates have been tossed around and flirted with. One option, however, is the recently unemployed Paul Chryst. Chryst was the head coach of the Wisconsin Badgers football team from 2015 up until week five of the 2022 college football season. Chryst never had a losing season and had just one year with fewer than eight wins. That year, 2020, was shortened to seven games due to quarantine protocols. His reputation within the realm of college football is well known and highly praised. Surely, he won't be without a job for long with plenty of options out there for him to explore.
