The outdoor dining program that has kept many New York City restaurants alive during the pandemic could be made permanent. But not everybody is on board with the idea. NY1’s Zack Fink, Courtney Gross and Gloria Pazmino weigh in on the debate and discuss what’s likely to happen next.

They also comment on Mayor Adams’ testimony before the state legislature earlier this week. The mayor made his case for changes he wants to see in New York’s criminal justice laws, particularly when it comes to bail. Can he get his fellow Democrats to agree with his plan?

And, in a bonus segment, Courtney takes us inside the fight to unionize an Amazon warehouse on Staten Island.

We want to hear from you, especially what you think about the outdoor dining structures. Do you agree with the efforts to make the program permanent?
