When Jayden Daniels departed Tempe, Arizona for Baton Rouge, Louisiana, the Arizona State Sun Devils football team was sent into a tailspin. Between Trenton Bourguet and Paul Tyson, there was next to no optimism for the Sun Devils' offense following spring practices. But then, Emory Jones, a starting quarterback for the Florida Gators in 2021, announced his intentions to transfer to Arizona State University and the perception of the offense drastically changed. While it still wasn't seen as some elite-caliber offense with Jones at the helm, we felt a little more confident that Arizona State Sun Devils football could score some points.
