Iran has begun five days of public mourning, after the country's President Ebrahim Raisi was killed in a helicopter crash in north-west Iran.

The country's supreme leader Ali Khamenei has urged calm and appointed Vice-President, Mohammad Mokhber, as interim President. He will be tasked with organising a new presidential election within the next 50 days.
