Perth isn't the first place you'd think of as Australia's design capital. For much of its history, the city has shed its built environment in a race for the new, burying layers of design history along with it. So how would we define Perth's design culture? And what design stories does the city tell beyond architecture? The city's inaugural design week will have some clues.
