"The Taste Of Things" had its world premiere at the Cannes Film Festival, where it competed for the Palme d'Or and won the Best Director prize for Trần Anh Hùng. Starring Academy Award-winner Juliette Binoche and Benoît Magimel in two moving performances, few films have ever captured the love of cooking and what cooking can mean for love as exceptionally as this film has. Binoche and Anh Hùng were kind enough to spend some time talking with Dan Bayer and Giovanni Lago, respectively, about their work on the film, which is the French entry for Best International Feature Film at the 96th Academy Awards. Please take a listen to the interviews below and be sure to check out the film, which releases in the U.S. on February 9th, 2024, from IFC Films and is up for your consideration in all eligible categories at this year's Academy Awards, including Best Picture, Best Director, Best Supporting Actress, and Best International Feature Film. Thank you, and enjoy!
