That's because so many elements are well-thought-out and pronounced within the film to tell a story that feels familiar but is being presented in ways unlike we've previously seen before. Part of that is the richly layered performance from Clayne Crawford as the film's protagonist David and the unnerving sound work by Sound Re-Recording Mixer and Sound Designer Peter Albrechtsen.
