"Orlando, My Political Biography" had its world premiere at the 73rd Berlin International Film Festival, where it competed for the Golden Bear. It later went on to become the only documentary of 2023 to play at the Berlin, Telluride, Toronto, and New York Film Festivals and is now nominated for Best First Documentary Feature at the 2023 Critics Choice Documentary Awards.
