Welcome to a special Tuesday episode of The Suitcase & The Scribe. Today, Greg McKegg from the New York Rangers joins Mike McKenna and Scott Burnside to talk about the Rangers season.

Along with that, McKegg dove into his playing career and how he ended up with the Rangers. He also spoke about the vibes around the Rangers camp, playing under Gerard Gallant, and the youth movement in New York Right now.

Following their chat with McKegg, Mike and Scott gave their thoughts on Marty St Louis' start in Montreal and what the future could hold for the Hockey Hall of Famer. Last night, the Habs had a big win over the Toronto Maple Leafs, which was a perfect segway into the business the Leafs have been conducting as of late.

Another Canadian team in the discussion today was the red hot Calgary Flames. Aside from the Colorado Avalanche, Calgary has recently been the best team in the NHL, but are they under the radar? Mike and Scott gave their thoughts on them and Johnny Gaudreau's season.

They spoke about the anniversary of The Miracle on Ice and the David Ayers' game versus the Maple Leafs to round out the show.
