Conrad Benner is the founder of StreetsDept.com, a popular photo-blog that documents and celebrates street art and muralism in the city of Philadelphia. He is a Fishtown-native who has made a name for himself as a photo-blogger, curator, and podcaster, his work delves into the world of art, public space and the creative minds that shape it. Recognized for his contributions to the art scene and for promoting change in the community, Conrad has received numerous accolades such as being named one of the "Best Blogs for Travellers" by The Guardian, and being featured in publications like Mashable, Instagram, Time Magazine and the Encyclopedia Britannica. He has also received awards like the Philadelphia Geek Award for 'Geek Culture Journalism' (2011), 'Best Art Curator' by Philadelphia Magazine (2014) and one of the '100 Most Influential People in Philadelphia' by Philadelphia Magazine (2017). In 2020, he was named one of the 76 most influential people in Philly by Philadelphia magazine.
