"A Chiara" had its world premiere at last year's Cannes Film Festival and then went on to play various film festivals throughout the fall. It is now playing in limited release from NEON in New York and Los Angeles this weekend. Director/Writer Jonas Carpignano was kind enough to spend a few minutes talking with us about his unique mafia movie, how it drew inspiration from other movies while creating its own path, how he worked with the actors, particular Swamy Rotolo, the importance of setting the film in Italy and more. Be sure to check out the film if you can, and please take a listen down below. Enjoy!
