We discuss many of them, and we analyze the MCU’s modus operandi thus far as well as their possible upcoming slate of films. Enjoy this episode as our follow-up speculation after our reviews Spider-Man: Far From Home and Avengers: Endgame. Enjoy this one as a preview to the upcoming Hall H presentation at late July’s Comic Con. However you take in this show, we hope you get your movie talk fix about the Uncanny X-Men. The format for this episode was simple. First, we reminisced about our experience with the X-Men. There’s the famous Stan Lee creation point, all the Saturday morning cartoons, and then a ton of movies to discuss. Next, we canvas the internet for as many theories we could find, and we come up with a few in our own right on how Kevin Feige, Markus & McFeely, and the braintrust at Marvel will re-introduce the X-Men, Deadpool, and the Fantastic Four into their version of the Marvel superhero landscape. Finally, we had a lot of fun creating a wishlist of hopes and dreams we have for the MCU in the coming years. We want certain costumes, certain music, and we air out our biases going into this transition. Hopefully, we contextualize it all well enough with our intro on the previous Fox films, our discussion of some of the comics, and our break down of how the MCU can tell a good story long term.
