This week on Inside the Arts, conversation with award winning NCIS: New Orleans actress CCH Pounder. Dozens of works from her private art collection are the subject of the exhibit, ICONS: Ideals of Black Masculinity, on view at Xavier University Art Gallery. Then, the Ashé Cultural Arts Center is gearing up for its 6th Annual Commemorative Luncheon honoring Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and César Chávez. Executive director Carol Bebelle joins us. And, a groundbreaking exhibit, (Per)Sister: Incarcerated Women of Louisiana, opens this week at Tulane's Newcomb Art Museum. The stories of formerly incarcerated women come to light in the multi-media exhibit. We talk with museum director Monica Ramirez-Montegut and (Per)Sister/co-organizer Syrita Steib-Martin. Airs Tuesdays at 1:00 p.m., Wednesdays at 8:30 p.m., and Thursdays at 8:45 a.m.
