Season 4 Ep 3 - Influencers vs Vultures Hali , DJ Candy Raine ,Cidnee and Nika recap the beginning of their year . It was MLK weekend , Hali got a chance to feed the homeless and attend the women’s march . We recently had the #carefreekiki ball - a pride event to highlight the lgbtq community. Our CareFreeBlackGirl of the week is CAU alumni, Rachel Jackson who was recently promoted a&r at Roc Nation . The ladies also shout out Kamala Harris for announcing her run for Presidency. The group talk the good and bad surrounding her announcement. And the importance of change and accountability during these tough times . Nika details the ways the government shut down is affecting everyone’. The main topic of the day was culture vultures and colorism in the industry. Big Draco reminded the world of all he’s done for hip hop and entertainment. That got us to thinking has the culture been robbed ? And what do we do to take it back from vultures . Cidnee talks the struggles of dating a non creative as a person and the importance from them to understand your lifestyle . Women bosses sometimes take a seat back on love for their careers .
