Submit ReviewAndre Lecroix joined me this episode to explain the importance of indoor home air quality and easy things people can do to improve their daily lives in small ways. Andre is a certified indoor environmentalist, certified healthy homes specialist, certified radon measurement provider, and owner of EZ Breathe Ventilation Systems. He speaks to the importance of indoor air quality as well as offers guidance and positive changes people can make to improve their IAQ (indoor air quality).
If we’ve learned anything from the past year and the COVID-19 pandemic, it is that air quality matters more so now than ever before. Even before the pandemic, the average American spent 90% of their time indoors and poor air quality can have a detrimental effect on one’s health and wellbeing. Poor indoor air quality can exacerbate allergy and asthma triggers, as well as create problems for one’s home such as premature foundation decay, musty odors, and mold and mildew buildup. As we begin to exit the pandemic and start to go back to normal, individuals are taking note of small ways that they can protect themselves and their loved ones and knowing the proper steps to take to improve one’s air quality is a small step that has a huge impact.
