Juan Soto to the San Francisco Giants? It's not as crazy as it might sound if the Nationals do indeed decide to move him. With more than 2.5 years of club control remaining, the Nationals would rightfully want multiple elite prospects in return. We're talking Kyle Harrison and Marco Luciano as a starting point.

Cash could certainly be part of a deal, however, and the Giants have the flexibility to take on bad money. Washington has a couple of awful deals on its hands in Stephen Strasburg and Patrick Corbin. Could the Giants take on some of one of those deals to lessen the prospect cost? It's not impossible, but Washington would still want top prospect talent.

Other mailbag questions are addressed, including Steven Duggar's status as it compares to Luis González, whether Thairo Estrada could be a leadoff option for the SF Giants, and the host's earliest San Francisco Giants memory (it's a funny one).
