“I thought the hardest day of my life would be finding out that I was pregnant. It wasn’t. The hardest day of my life was driving away from that hospital without a baby.”
Kelly Clemente chose adoption for her son. She chose life over abortion. She made the incredibly difficult decision to place her newborn son into the arms of a husband and wife who wanted to build their family through adoption.
In 2014, more than 900,000 women in the U.S. chose abortion while just over 18,000 women chose to place their children for adoption. According to the National Council for Adoption, for every 1,000 abortions and births to unmarried women, there were only about 7 adoptions.
Kelly shares her story about how and why she placed her newborn son for adoption about 10 years ago. Only recently did the world really get to hear her story when the website
TheDailySignal.com did a video interview with Kelly, where for just over 19 minutes she shares tell the incredible story of how she was pregnant at 18 and went through a heart wrenching journey.
I ran across Kelly’s video and initially didn’t want to spend 19 minutes watching a video, but then I started watching and couldn’t stop. I am so thankful to have her on the podcast. Listen as she shares her heart, her experience and her love for anyone touched by adoption.
Kelly’s faith played a big part in her journey. You will hear her tell the story about when she was about 2 weeks away from her son’s birth when she hit a low point and God picked her up and said he had plans for her life. Find out what those plans were and how Kelly is doing now. She’s amazing.
In this episode, I invite you to learn how to tell your story and adopt faster by making your adoption profile video. I’ve created the only online video course about how to make your profile video. It’s called ADOPTION PROFILE VIDEOS MADE EASY. Get started today by going to
