It's time to go back to war and join everyone’s favorite band of mercenaries for another adventure! In this action-packed showdown, Sylvester Stallone reunites his battle-hardened team of all-star tough guys — Dolph Lundgren, Jason Statham, Randy Couture, Terry Crews, and Jet Li for their next battle! This time, the team find themselves on a quest for revenge after their newest recruit is killed by international arms dealer Jean Vilain (played by the Muscles From Brussels himself, Jean-Claude Van Damme)! And joining the Expendables in this fight, some other iconic action stars are also along for the ride including Arnold Schwarzenegger, Bruce Willis, and Chuck Norris! How does the film do at balancing the weight of its star-studded cast? Is the film’s meta-nature a perk to the movie or an insult? Why is Dolph’s Gunnar character treated as the comic relief?
