On this month's episode, it's Russian gangs, warring assassins, and... a dog? No, we're not talking another John Wick film... Although, in many respects, this is also the progenitor to the John Wick franchise! Yes, we're chatting the 2012 hitman thriller, One in the Chamber! In this modern-day take on the classic Yojimbo story, Cuba Gooding Jr. and Dolph square off as seasoned assassins who are being manipulated by rival Russian mobs! Joining me once again to discuss this tightly-wound hitman thriller is Doug Greenberg from The Rocky Minute! How are the traces of John Wick apparent in this early effort by scribe, Derek Kolstad? For a film set in Prague with presumably Russian characters, why is everyone speaking English? How is the chemistry between Cuba and Dolph? And could Dolph's Boca Raton-dressed hitman be the very best thing about this film? Listen in as Doug and I discuss all things One in the Chamber!

Check out One in the Chamber, streaming for free on Tubi! Major thanks to Doug Greenberg for coming back! Please check out his podcast, The Rocky Minute, which can be found on The Last of the Action Heroes Podcast Network! Doug is currently at work on Season III of the show, which covers Rocky III; stay tuned for its release!
