On this month's episode, we're looking at the most recent effort from both Dolph Lundgren AND Scott Adkins -- Castle Falls! Yes, we realize that we're jumping way ahead in the filmography of Dolph, but this film is just too cool to not discuss now! In fact, not only is Dolph in front of the camera, but he also steps behind the camera once again, marking his return to directing in ten years (not to mention his sixth starring/directing gig!)! In this throwback to the action films of the '80's and '90's, Lundgren and Adkins play two regular working class men with some very real money problems... However, over $3 million that is ripe for the taking sits in an abandoned hospital that is ready to be demolished. Standing in their way though is a gang of deadly thieves who are also laying claim to the loot! Returning to the show to help me chat this one is Mike Fury, author of the books, Life of Action, Volume I and Life of Action, Volume II! How did the onset of Covid hamper and help this film's production? How do Dolph and Scott Adkins do re-teaming once again? And in what ways does this film stand head and shoulders above all the other films currently being released in the DTV action genre? Listen in as Mike and discuss Castle Falls! Heads up — SPOILERS AHEAD! Castle Falls is currently available on Video on Demand. It is also being released to DVD and blu-ray on December 28th in the US; January 10th in the UK!
