Hunter Greene was next-to-perfect on Monday as the Cincinnati Reds shutout the Arizona Diamondbacks in a rain-shortened game. Jeff talks about the masterful slider that led the way to Greene's big day and how Greene is one of the few must-see parts of the Reds in 2022. Graham Ashcraft is also at the top of the must-see list and he pitches tonight against the D-Backs. With Greene, Ashcraft, and a healthy Nick Lodolo, the Reds are looking at their future now. Imagine, for a moment, that the Reds don't trade Luis Castillo and Tyler Mahle this year. How good would that pitching staff be for the Reds in 2023? There wouldn't be much the Reds would have to invest to make a playoff team and we wouldn't have to wait until 2024. Worth dreaming about, Reds fans!
