Sixteen major international human rights and charity organisations have made a rare call for countries to stop arms transfers to Israel and armed Palestinian groups. 

Its an unusual plea, given many of the organisations, like Oxfam, Save the Children and the Norwegian Refugee Council, are often forced to pursue neutrality in order to secure access to conflict zones.
