Submit ReviewOn 7th March 2020 more than 36,000 fans piled into Elland Road for the 2-0 win over Huddersfield Town which continued the march towards promotion to the Premier League. Since then not a single fan has been back in to watch Marcelo Bielsa’s side in person. This week Patrick Bamford, Jermaine Beckford, Emma Jones and Matthew Lewis reflect on that fact as we approach the year mark since the stands fell silent.
With more promising times on the horizon and a hopeful return of fans in the coming months, members of the Leeds faithful tell us what they’ve missed most and what they’re most looking forward to, from journeys to the ground to time spent with friends and family and some of the more suspect odours they now long for. Pat gives us an insight into what it’s really like playing in empty stadiums, and the team look forward to the time they can cheer on the Mighty Whites in person.
