Submit ReviewAmanda, Nick and Ryan are back as they Quick Pitch a very interesting theory proposed by Pete Alonso in that the league purposely manipulates the baseballs to affect the upcoming free agent class. For instance, they deadened the balls in 2021 to have hitters' stats be worse so they would make less money in free agency. This is similar to the juiced balls in 2019 that inflated pitching stats prior to the offseason that saw Gerrit Cole and Stephen Strasburg hit the market. Then we are joined by a very special guest as William Boor makes his HSHH debut to talk with us about the upcoming draft: who to watch for, who the Nats might be looking to draft, and draft strategy. We also have a great discussion about Carter Kieboom, Cade Cavalli and how the Top 100 Prospects are determined. Finally, we end with a draft of the best things about baseball. Listen in!
