As moms, we are always looking for ways we can raise our children to be better and do better. Figuring out how to ensure we raise them as anti-racist is probably one of the biggest tasks we have as mothers. I’m sharing the secret to how you can raise anti-racist children….it starts with YOU being anti-racist. You don’t have to be a perfect mother, I certainly am not, but you do have to be clear on your values and beliefs. In order to raise anti-racist children, we as moms (and dads) need to put in the work and lead by example. You need to be willing to listen, to learn and to have conversations with your children about the importance of not only treating everyone equally, but how they need to speak up and protect others. Raising anti-racist children isn’t a simple task, but it’s one that can change the entire world for the better.
