Seth Rollins got Wrestling Twitter worked up by getting into a weird Twitter yelling match with NJPW Jr. Heavyweight Champion Will Ospreay. Ospreay, who is known for bizarre Twitter exchanges, ended up being the more cordial of the two parties. Rollins, however, upped the ante by using a #TeamWWE hashtag and boasting that he had a bigger bank account than Ospreay.

He also claimed that Jon Moxley (fka Dean Ambrose) took his proverbial ball and went home in a recent interview. Is it a shot at AEW and other wrestling promotions or is Seth taking this “top guy” thing really seriously?

Shots Fired

Speaking of shots at AEW, many wrestling fans have speculated that WWE putting Evolve’s 10th Anniversary Show on the WWE Network is a shot at AEW as it’s the same day as Fight for the Fallen. WWE’s decision to debut Evolve on the WWE Network is certainly an interesting decision. We’d definitely be interested in seeing if wrestling fans gravitate toward one event over the other.

Eric Bischoff and Paul Heyman were tapped to become the Executive Directors of Smackdown Live and RAW, respectively. Heyman taking the helm of RAW made sense to many. However, some people were initially shocked at Bischoff returning to WWE. Now that’s he back, will he be better than ever as he transitions SD Live from USA to Fox?
