Submit ReviewSolutions: you can always suggest an alternative solution if you think that your big ask is something that the other person won’t go far. Here’s an example: I knew that I had paid for about two or three weeks of my Equinox gym membership back in March 2020 which was unable to be used due to closures from COVID.
I emailed my contact at the gym and asked for a refund to my card. She said that she could apply it as a credit to my membership. I don’t plan on going back to the gym for various reasons. So I responded and said I’m unable to return to the gym so I would like a credit, but if that’s not possible could you apply this amount to a credit in the shop so that I could buy some gear. She was able to do that. It allowed Equinox to keep their bottom line revenue the same and I got almost $100 to spend on leggings. You have to ask. Everything is negotiable and it's always a human behind the decision.
