"Scared money don’t make none" Sam Presti’s journey from the NBA finals loosing 2012 with Kevin Durant, Russell Westbrook, James Harden and the OKC Thunder against LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and the Miami Heat to loosing to Steph Curry and Klay Thompson and the Warriors in 2016 followed by losing KD to the same Warriors team. The Thunders rebuild with Russ and Paul George set off a series of effects the ultimately ended up with Damian Lillard’s 3 on April 23, 2019 in OKC as the Portland Trailblazers advanced in the playoffs. What happened next was the most legendary beard in the history of the NBA. After trading Russ and PG13 the Thunder shocked everyone by making the playoffs with Chris Paul and a young guards named Shai Gilgeous- Alexander and Luguentz Dort. 2 short years later the OKC Thunder are shocking the world again and are on the brink of thrusting OKC back to the center of the basketball world with SGA as an MVP candidate and 2nd year player Josh Giddey leading the team with Defensive player of the year candidate Lu Dort and the table set for Chet Holmgren to take the league by storm again. But what gets us most jacked up is the way the team is built for hard work, defensive toughness, gang rebounding and every player is ready to attack the basket and we regularly see the Thunder move the ball from side to side and get multiple paint touches per possession. It’s time to buckle up because the best is yet to come!
