The New Jersey Devils are now tied for first place in the Metropolitan Division alongside the Carolina Hurricanes. Speaking of which, their 3-0 shutout victory against them carried a lot more meaning than people realized. It was a true test for the Devils and they were able to pull through. The playoffs are right around the corner and newly acquired asset, Timo Meier, hasn't exactly been performing up to standard. However, I don't think people should be concerned.
