Kidsave, a Culver City-based nonprofit that has operated in Ukraine since 2016, is currently helping families get to safety following Russia’s invasion.

International Medical Corps, a nonprofit headquartered in LA, is providing medicines, critical care equipment, and health care personnel to Ukraine as the conflict with Russia continues. 

The U.S. Supreme Court declined to review Bill Cosby’s case, and former Trump lawyer John Eastman faces an ethics investigation.

American pianist Ruth Slenczynska, 97, is releasing a new album called “My Life in Music.” She began performing at 4 years old, studied with Russian composer Sergei Rachmaninoff, and has played for multiple U.S. presidents. 

Low-rise jeans, baby tees, and shrugs from the early 2000s are back. But overweight women were absent from these styles, says freelance writer Jess Sims.
