A new study looks at the African elephants and how they great each other -  ABC Science Reporter Belinda Smith says it involves lots of vocalisation and noise, and likens it to "family members greeting each other at the airport."

And researchers say Beethoven's hearing loss can be explained, at least partly, by toxic chemicals found in his hair.
