Two out of every five families have a child who's refusing to go to school - it's a growing problem where affected students feel so overwhelmed or anxious about school they stop going.

Anne Hollonds is the National Children's Commissioner says COVID has "really blown this apart" and it's been a difficult journey for many kids to reconnect with the school environment. She says we need to do more to consider if the institution of school is really fit for the needs of kids today.
