Associate justice Stephen Breyer is retiring from the Supreme Court this summer leaving an opening on the high court. On Friday President Joe Biden nominated Ketanji Brown Jackson. If confirmed Jackson will become the first Black woman on the Supreme Court. Now the confirmation process begins with Democrats hoping to wrap up the hearing process before the Senate recess in mid April.
